BASKETBALL COURT CONSTRUCTION

Kelysports is a basketball court contractor building full-size and half courts, including outdoor acrylic basketball courts, for schools, colleges, academies and residential communities. We take care of the base, the court surface, markings, fencing and lighting, and we make our own basketball poles and hoop systems in the Kelysports workshop, so the court plays true and holds up to daily use.

BASKETBALL POLES AND HOOP SYSTEMS

Kelysports is a basketball pole manufacturer as well as a court builder: every pole on this page was made in our own workshop, then installed by our team with its backboard, ring and net. Because we make the poles and build the court, the post position, footing and court markings are planned together. Select a photo to view it full size.

BASKETBALL COURT CONSTRUCTION FAQS

How much does a basketball court cost to build?

It varies with court size, base, surface, posts, fencing and lighting. We quote after seeing the site.

What size is a standard basketball court?

A FIBA court measures 28 × 15 m. Many schools and communities choose a half court or a smaller practice court to fit their space.

Can the same court be used for other sports?

Yes. We can add volleyball, pickleball or badminton markings in a different colour to make it a multisport court.

Does Kelysports manufacture basketball poles?

Yes. Our basketball poles are made in the Kelysports workshop and installed by our own team with the backboard, ring and net. See them in the basketball poles section above.

Can you supply basketball poles for an existing court?

Yes. Tell us about the court and send a few photos; we will check the footing positions and advise on the poles and installation.

Can basketball poles be padded?

Yes. Post and base padding can be fitted where players run close to the pole, as on some of the courts in our photos.

Do you build outdoor acrylic basketball courts?

Yes. Our outdoor basketball courts are finished in acrylic, in the colours and line markings you choose, including extra lines for other sports. See the basketball court projects above and our acrylic flooring page.
