HEVEA WOODEN SPORTS FLOORING
Hevea wooden sports flooring uses hevea (rubberwood), a plantation-grown hardwood, laid over a cushioned sub-floor. Kelysports supplies and installs hevea floors for indoor badminton and multipurpose halls where a timber floor is wanted.

HEVEA WOOD INSTALLATION PROCESS

Slab and moisture check
Timber needs a level, dry slab and a moisture barrier.

Sub-floor
Pads, battens and sub-floor are set out and levelled.

Boards
Boards are acclimatised, then laid and fixed.
04
Finish
The floor is sanded, lacquered and lined for the sports.
HEVEA WOOD MAINTENANCE
- Keep the hall dry; water and standing moisture damage timber.
- Dust-mop daily and use only cleaners suited to lacquered wood.
- Non-marking sports footwear only.
- Plan periodic re-lacquering as wear shows.

Values published only from supplier data sheets or test reports held by Kelysports.
Confirmed in writing with your quotation, from the supplier's data sheet: board size and grade, total system height, sub-floor type, finish, any certification or test report actually held.
